Kicker ZX Bass Knob Question - WTF is going on?
Is this how Kicker designs their bass knobs? Is mine just screwed up? I had an IA 20.1 w/bass knob and nothing of this sort happened - when I plugged the bass knob in volume stayed the same, and when I turned it up, volume increased accordingly. Anybody have any experience with ZX bass knobs, Kicker bass knobs, or this problem?

im trying to decide between an alpine 1000 watt mono amp and kicker 1000 watt mono amp. alpine mrp1000 is rated at 1000x1 at 2 ohms and 600x1 at 4 ohms. kicker is 1000x1 at 2ohms and 500x1 at 4 ohms. they will be powering 2 15" kicker cvrs. which one would deliver cleaner and louder bass?
